Central Cee Teams Up with RAYE for New Single 'Moi'

Central Cee has collaborated with RAYE for their latest single 'Moi', a track influenced by UK garage. Released on September 6, 2024, the song features both artists intertwining their rap and singing talents with snippets of French, showcasing a blend of styles. RAYE opens the track with a soulful introduction, which reflects on love and loss in the romantic backdrop of Paris: "I wonder why/There's a stone cold breeze as I kiss him goodbye/Paris is the city of love, they say/But not for him and I."

The accompanying music video, produced by Dan Prod, was filmed across multiple locations in London and Paris, featuring Central Cee alongside a fleet of rose gold supercars. Central Cee continues to build momentum after the surprise release of 'Billion Streams Freestyle' which celebrated his achievement of over a billion streams, as well as teaming with Parisian rapper JRK 19 on 'Bolide Noir'.

RAYE shared her excitement about the collaboration, revealing she co-produced 'Moi' and expressed her desire to sing more songs in French. She commented on Instagram, expressing gratitude towards Central Cee: "grateful to my friend @centralcee for having me Moi ft. me is now yours souviens-toi que mme les bad b*tch pleurent co-produced by me too ;) p.s i hope you think my French is okay, i love the language and would like to try and sing more songs in French."

This release continues a productive year for both artists. Central Cee has performed at major events, including a surprise appearance at Nicki Minaj's Co-Op Live gig in Manchester and collaborations with other artists like Ice Spice on 'Did It First'. RAYE, on the other hand, has also been active, joining Laufey to cover 'It Could Happen To You' at Lollapalooza 2024 and has been part of lineup rumors for Glastonbury 2025, alongside Taylor Swift.
