During the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, held on September 11 in Elmont, New York, Damiano David, the lead vocalist of the Italian rock band Måneskin, shared details about his highly anticipated solo album set to release on September 27, 2024. In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, David remarked, "I've been working for a long, long time on a new project and September 27 is the date of release, so I would love everyone to stay tuned."

David emphasized his excitement about the upcoming project, indicating it would represent a departure from his work with Måneskin. He hinted at an evolving sound, saying, "There's going to be a lot of new things," while also reassuring fans that Måneskin is still his top priority. "The band is great. We are going to work on stuff. Nothing is going to change," he affirmed.

Additionally, fellow band member Victoria De Angelis performed at the VMAs, addressing recent rumors regarding the band's potential disbandment after their latest tour. De Angelis is also working on her own solo release titled Get Up Bitch (Shake Ya Ass), in collaboration with Brazilian superstar Anitta. Both artists are pursuing their individual artistic paths while remaining committed to their band.

David added to the excitement with a cryptic teaser on his Instagram, featuring a monologue that states, "I travelled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything's started." This has led fans to speculate about a new single or album titled Everywhere.

Måneskin's previous album, Rush, released in 2023, received mixed reviews but was praised for its dynamic live shows. As fans look forward to updates on both David's and De Angelis's projects, the band's influence in the music industry remains significant.
