During the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards held on September 11 in Elmont, New York, Damiano David, the lead vocalist of the Italian rock band Måneskin, shared notable insights into his upcoming solo project. Set to debut on September 27, 2024, David expressed his enthusiasm for this personal creative endeavor in an exclusive interview with The Associated Press. He stated, "I've been working for a long, long time on a new project and September 27 is the date of release, so I would love everyone to stay tuned."

Reflecting on his solo work compared to his contributions to Måneskin, David hinted at an evolving sound. He teased fans saying, "There's going to be a lot of new things," while reassuring them that Måneskin is still going strong. "The band is great. We are going to work on stuff. Nothing is going to change," he affirmed.

Fellow band member Victoria De Angelis also participated in the VMAs, addressing rumors about the band's potential disbandment following their recent tour. De Angelis is working on her own solo project titled "Get Up Bitch (Shake Ya Ass)," featuring Brazilian superstar Anitta, showcasing the band’s individual artistic pursuits while emphasizing their unity.

Recently, David created buzz with a cryptic Instagram teaser featuring a monologue that stated, "I travelled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything's started." This has led fans to speculate about a possible new single or album, potentially titled 'Everywhere.'

Måneskin's last full-length album, 'Rush,' was released in 2023 and received mixed reviews, recognized for its dynamic live performances. As anticipation builds for both David's and De Angelis’s solo projects, Måneskin's influence continues to significantly resonate within the music industry, keeping fans eagerly engaged.
