David Gilmour has unveiled a new video for the title track of his recently released studio album, Luck And Strange. This marks Gilmour's fifth solo album and his first release of new music in nearly nine years. Notably, the album features contributions from the late Richard Wright, who was the keyboardist for Pink Floyd. These contributions derive from jam sessions that were recorded in 2007 at Gilmour's barn, providing a unique blend of nostalgia and creativity between the two musicians.

The video debuted last week, echoing themes of warmth and reminiscence as it highlights Gilmour's musical reflections with Wright. In a recent interview, Gilmour recounted the chilly atmosphere during the recording sessions, stating, "What was going through my addled brain I don't know—it was fucking freezing in that barn." Despite the discomfort, the product of those sessions has now been vividly brought back to life in Luck And Strange.

In conjunction with the album release, Gilmour announced two special rehearsal performances slated for September 20 and 21 at the Brighton Centre, intended as an exclusive preview for his forthcoming tour. The tour is set to kick off on September 27 in Rome at the historic Circus Maximus and will include stops at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London, with additional dates in Los Angeles and New York. Attendees can expect a mix of new tracks from Luck And Strange alongside classic Pink Floyd favorites.

Recently, Gilmour surprised fans with a performance at Hove's The Neptune Inn, where he played the beloved song "Wish You Were Here" alongside his daughter Romany, who also contributes to Luck And Strange.
