The Diocese of Orlando is currently looking for a Music Director to oversee music programs across the diocese and the Cathedral. This role is crucial as it entails enhancing the beauty of the liturgy through the appropriate selection and performance of liturgical music. The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong background in sacred music and a deep understanding of Roman Catholic liturgy.

The responsibilities include the recruitment and training of music ministers, developing liturgical music policies, and maintaining a liturgical music library. Additionally, the Music Director will supervise the Cathedral’s Associate Music Director and Spanish Music Director.

Potential candidates should hold at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in sacred music or equivalent experience. They must demonstrate proficiency in voice, conducting, and keyboard instruments, and have knowledge of various musical styles. Bilingual candidates in Spanish and English are highly desirable.
