Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is currently looking for a dedicated student to fill the role of Music Events Assistant within the School of Music on the Richmond Campus. This position is categorized as a student role and offers flexible hours ranging from 5 to 20 per week. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of departmental duties, contributing to the vibrant musical culture at EKU.

As a Music Events Assistant, responsibilities will include serving as stagehands, ushers, and assisting in the recording and streaming of recitals. Furthermore, there may be opportunities to work with the musical theatre department, presenting an exciting chance to immerse oneself in the diverse activities within the School of Music.

Candidates must be enrolled at EKU and possess traits such as punctuality, professionalism, and reliability. Self-motivation is also encouraged, ensuring that the student can manage their duties effectively while balancing academic responsibilities.

The position offers a competitive starting salary of $8.00 per hour, but please note that this role does not provide visa sponsorship. Interested applicants should be prepared to undertake additional training related to confidentiality and data security as part of their employment.
