FKA twigs has officially announced her new album, titled 'EUSEXUA', set to release on January 24, 2024, via XL Recordings. This marks her first studio album since 'Magdalene' in 2019, followed by the mixtape 'Caprisongs' in 2022. Recently, FKA twigs had been teasing her upcoming project with a series of hints, including an album trailer released earlier this week and a noteworthy takeover event at The Cause in London.

The lead single, which also carries the title 'EUSEXUA', has already been made available to listeners. In a heartfelt note regarding the album, FKA twigs expressed her connection to the work, stating, "EUSEXUA has been my practice for the years that it has been in creation. It is my opus and truly feels like a pin at the centre of the core of my artist."

She reflected on the album's inception, recalling how it was creatively born during a night out in Prague, with the phrase "this room of fools WE MAKE SOMETHING TOGETHER" inscribed in her thoughts. She emphasized the album's themes of communal experience, stating, "we rave, we sweat, we kiss, we make love to the booming thud of culture. EUSEXUA is a practice, EUSEXUA is a state of being, EUSEXUA is the pinnacle of human experience."

For those interested in today's burgeoning music landscape, details of the album's promotional activities and further developments can be found on platforms such as Clash Music and through ticket sales for launch events here.
