Guitar Center, a leading music retail company, is on the lookout for a Music Store Manager to oversee all aspects of their retail business. This role is crucial as it involves providing vision and guidance to the team to meet and exceed business objectives. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue and EBITDA targets while managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements. They will also lead the recruitment process for managers and associates, ensuring that the store is staffed adequately and efficiently. Training, mentoring, and developing staff is also a vital part of the role, along with maintaining the company’s merchandising standards.
Requirements
Candidates should have more than 4 years of experience in similar retail settings, as well as at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is necessary, along with the ability to work weekends and holidays. Candidates must also be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferences
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with a solid understanding of retail systems and processes.
