Leeds-based collective HONESTY has officially announced the release of their debut album, U R HERE, which is set to be released on February 7, 2025 via Partisan Records. Alongside the announcement, the group has shared a vibrant new single titled MEASURE ME, accompanied by a music video. This track marks the first glimpse into their upcoming album, which follows their previous releases, including last year's WHERE R U EP and this year's BOX mix.

HONESTY describes their music as a blend of propulsive club sounds with introspective themes, aiming to capture the psychological landscape of contemporary life. The collective, which includes members George Mitchell, Matt Peel, Josh Lewis, and Imi Marston, seeks to defy genre boundaries, drawing influences from styles like Shoegaze and UK bass.

In the statement regarding U R HERE, the band stated, "This album became an organic collaborative effort at sounding like passing the aux cable around at an afterparty." They described the album's concept as a map of soundscapes, with MEASURE ME serving as an emotive springboard into their world.

The track was inspired by a dream experienced by vocalist Softlizard, featuring vivid imagery of weighing her own brain. The unique video produced by UNCANNY integrates striking visuals and cityscapes alongside projections, encapsulating HONESTY’s dynamic live performance aesthetics.

Additionally, HONESTY has announced a series of UK tour dates including performances at The Social in London on September 24 and The Waiting Room on December 6, alongside various festival appearances, such as Float Along in Sheffield and Mutations in Brighton. Their participation in Eurosonic Festival 2024 has established them as an exciting new act within the electronic scene, already receiving favorable mentions from outlets like Mixmag and Clash.
