Janet Jackson recently reflected on a memorable wardrobe malfunction during her performance for Queen Elizabeth II in the early 1990s, sharing the details in an interview with Vogue for their Life In Looks series. While performing her acclaimed hit song "Rhythm Nation," Jackson faced an unexpected incident when her pants split as she squatted on stage.

Jackson recounted the awkward moment, stating, "I was performing for the Queen of England, and we were doing 'Rhythm Nation'. Sure enough, as soon as I squatted, my pants split right in my booty crack. I couldn't believe it happened." In a bid to avert any embarrassment, she adapted her choreography on the fly, emphasizing, "I never turned my back on her, which some of the choreography was supposed to. I just faced forward. Can you imagine if I would've flashed her for just like a hot second?" This incident adds to the list of memorable wardrobe malfunctions in Jackson's career, including the infamous Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show in 2004, where Justin Timberlake accidentally revealed her breast.

In addition to reminiscing about the incident, Jackson announced her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, set to commence on December 30, 2024. Furthermore, she will kick off her much-anticipated 'Together Again' tour starting September 25 in Paris, which will travel through various cities in the UK and Europe. This tour celebrates 50 years of her career and honors her landmark album, "Rhythm Nation 1814." Fans can find further details about her residency and tour through the ticket information here.
