Janet Jackson has shared a memorable anecdote about a wardrobe malfunction that occurred during a performance for Queen Elizabeth II. In an interview with Vogue for their Life In Looks series, Jackson recounted the incident while discussing her stylish outfits over the years.

During her performance of "Rhythm Nation" in the early 1990s, Jackson experienced an awkward moment when her pants split. "I was performing for the Queen of England, and we were doing 'Rhythm Nation'. Sure enough, as soon as I squatted, my pants split right in my booty crack. I couldn't believe it happened," she recalled, explaining how she had to adapt the choreography on the fly to avoid exposing herself to the monarch. "I never turned my back on her, which some of the choreography was supposed to. I just faced forward. Can you imagine if I would've flashed her for just like a hot second?"

This incident is just one of many wardrobe mishaps that have marked Jackson's career, with the infamous Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show in 2004 being another notable episode when Justin Timberlake accidentally exposed her breast during their performance.

In other news regarding the singer, Jackson recently announced her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, set to start on December 30, 2024. Further, she will embark on her 'Together Again' tour next week, kicking off in Paris on September 25, before touring various UK and European cities.

The tour commemorates 50 years of her entertainment career and celebrates the anniversary of her iconic album, "Rhythm Nation 1814." For more details about her residency and tour, fans can check out ticket information here.
