Janet Jackson has recounted a memorable wardrobe malfunction that occurred during a performance for Queen Elizabeth II in the early 1990s, shedding light on the awkward moment in a recent interview with Vogue for their Life In Looks series. While performing her hit song "Rhythm Nation," Jackson experienced a wardrobe mishap when her pants split as she squatted.

"I was performing for the Queen of England, and we were doing 'Rhythm Nation'. Sure enough, as soon as I squatted, my pants split right in my booty crack. I couldn't believe it happened," Jackson recalled. She explained how she had to quickly adapt her choreography to avoid exposing herself to the monarch, stating, "I never turned my back on her, which some of the choreography was supposed to. I just faced forward. Can you imagine if I would've flashed her for just like a hot second?"

This incident adds to the list of wardrobe malfunctions that have marked Jackson's illustrious career, which includes the notorious Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show in 2004 when Justin Timberlake accidentally revealed her breast.

In other news, Jackson has recently announced her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, commencing on December 30, 2024. Additionally, she is set to kick off her 'Together Again' tour next week, beginning in Paris on September 25, and continuing through various UK and European cities. This tour celebrates 50 years of her entertainment career and pays tribute to her iconic album, "Rhythm Nation 1814."
