Welsh-born singer-songwriter Jem is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her platinum debut album, Finally Woken, which was originally released in 2004. The album features the hit single "They," and has sold over a million copies globally while garnering millions of views on platforms like YouTube. It has also been featured prominently in various films and television shows, including Grey's Anatomy, Sex and the City: The Movie, and Orange Is the New Black.

To honor this milestone, Jem released a remastered version of Finally Woken to all streaming platforms on August 23, 2024. Alongside this release, she has unveiled "They 2.0 (Jem's Carnival Remix)," a reimagined version of her hit single that goes back to her DJ roots. Jem stated, "'They' is such a special song to me, and I loved making this remix. I wanted to give it a summer carnival vibe and went drum crazy in my studio!"

Jem's eclectic career began in the dance music scene, where she initially made a name as a club promoter and DJ before breaking into songwriting. She co-wrote "Nothing Fails" for Madonna’s American Life album, which marked her entry into the mainstream music scene. Jem has since performed with major acts like the Dave Matthews Band and has worked with artists such as Kanye West and P!nk.

In addition to her music, Jem is also launching a new podcast titled "IT'S AMAZING," aimed at exploring the impact of music on various lives and careers.
