Australian rock band Jet has made their long-awaited return to the music scene with the release of 'Hurry Hurry,' marking their first new single in 15 years. The track debuted on September 6, 2024, and coincides with the band's current 20th anniversary tour in Australia, where they have been performing the song live to enthusiastic audiences.

'Hurry Hurry' serves not only as a catchy new release but also as a precursor to the band's upcoming album, which is scheduled to be released next year. Nic Cester, vocalist and guitarist of Jet, remarked that the track is "a little appetiser" while they continue their work on the full-length record. Alongside 'Hurry Hurry,' the band has also released a B-side titled 'Un'avventura,' featuring Cester singing in both English and Italian, a nod to his time living in Italy over the past 15 years.

Jet's anticipated new album will follow the anniversary of their seminal 2003 debut record, 'Get Born.' The band is excited to explore new territories, including a UK and Ireland tour set for October 2024, which will be their first visit to the region in 15 years. The tour will kick off on October 3 in Dublin and includes stops in Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol, and London.

In a recent statement, Cester reflected on the significance of 'Get Born,' describing it as a moment of "total planetary alignment," and expressed excitement for returning to the UK and Ireland audience in celebration of the album’s legacy.
