Guitar Center Music Foundation is currently seeking a knowledgeable and passionate individual for the role of Store Manager. This position is pivotal in fostering creativity and a passion for music within retail spaces, as Guitar Center aims to develop lifelong musicians and provide enriching experiences for all individuals, be they musicians or not.
As Store Manager, candidates will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the retail business, leading their team with vision and integrity. The responsibilities include achieving revenue and EBITDA targets, managing P&L effectively, assessing problems, and providing stellar customer service. Successful applicants will have a clear understanding of how the business operates, including key drivers that affect performance and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate must have at least four years of experience in similar retail environments and two years in a managerial role. Moreover, strong organizational skills, customer focus, and the ability to mentor and develop staff are vital for this role. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, alongside proficiency with Microsoft Office.
