A company is currently seeking a freelance podcast audio editor/audio engineer as part of their expanding team. If you are a skilled audio engineer with a passion for podcasts and possess the right experience, this position might suit you well. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for editing English language audio podcasts using professional software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or Logic.

Your role encompasses overseeing the entire production of a podcast, with options for either fortnightly or weekly episodes. You'll make essential cuts to enhance the coherence and flow of the podcasts while keeping the audience in mind. Collaborating with clients will require you to use your creativity to edit content effectively.

The company values an interest in podcasts, a professional approach, and self-motivation. In return, they offer flexible remote working opportunities, basic training on processes and standards, and potential chances for further podcast projects.

Compensation is set at £35 per edited long-form episode, typically 30 to 60 minutes in length, and higher rates can be negotiated for additional tasks like creating audiograms. If you have a track record in audio editing and can provide examples of your work, this could be a fulfilling opportunity. For more information, check the original job listing.
