This role is essential for designing and documenting audio-visual solutions while working closely with sales and project teams to deliver projects that meet and exceed client expectations within budget and time constraints.
The AV Design Engineer will be responsible for various tasks including the design of AV systems, producing engineering documentation, supporting sales with insights and proposals, and ensuring that preconstruction requirements are met collaboratively with stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and managing relationships with both vendors and clients.
To be considered for this position, candidates should have a minimum of five years of AV Engineering experience and must demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite. A solid understanding of Control Systems, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and AV product setup is crucial. Strong communication skills alongside a client-focused approach are highly valued. Candidates should also have or be willing to obtain the AVIXA CTS-D certification within set timelines.
The job offers competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, along with health insurance options, dental and vision coverage, and retirement plan eligibility. Weekly pay is offered via direct deposit or pay card.
