Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford has announced that the legendary metal band will inevitably produce another album following the release of their latest record, Invincible Shield, just six months ago. During an interview with Audio Ink Radio, the 73-year-old vocalist expressed that the band’s essence lies in their continual creation of new music and their musical relevance is tied to it.

Halford stated, "We haven't gone into that world of thinking about another album yet, but I think that it's inevitable there will be something else." He emphasized the importance of taking time off to recharge, acknowledging that the band's strong bond plays a crucial role in their creative process.

Reflecting on their long history, Halford highlighted the band's journey from their 1974 debut album, Rocka Rolla, to their most recent offering, stating, "50 years later, we have Invincible Shield. So, at some point, there's gonna be another one, obviously."

Additionally, Ian Hill, the band's bassist, revealed plans to remix and reissue Rocka Rolla for its 50th anniversary, which has been re-engineered by Tom Allom. This remix is expected to have a modern touch while preserving the original essence of the album. Hill mentioned that the new version is slated for release soon.

Currently, Judas Priest is on tour in North America and has upcoming shows scheduled in Japan for December. For tickets and more tour information, fans can visit the band’s official website.
