Ladgov Corporation is currently seeking a Protestant Musician to provide Keyboard Gospel Music Support Services at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of musical duties that are pivotal to the worship experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
The musician will perform preludes, postludes, and offertory music while also accompanying the singing of hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs. Providing background music for meditation, prayers, and communion is also part of the role.
This position requires participation in all scheduled services, allowing for no more than two absences per year. Additionally, the musician is expected to provide Organ Musical Support and assist with site preparation and restoration. For ceremonies, the musician will provide prelude and postlude music, ensuring a seamless worship experience.
Qualifications
Candidates need to have experience in religious worship settings, specifically with a strong background in playing either piano or organ in public worship services. A minimum of two years’ experience in accompanying congregational singing and choir performances is essential.
