The schedule for services at Fort Leonard Wood includes a traditional Protestant service at Soldier Memorial Chapel each Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Brigade services take place at Main Post Chapel and Soldier Memorial Chapel at various times throughout the morning and afternoon.
Applicants must be active members of a Protestant faith community and demonstrate advanced familiarity with both contemporary and traditional Protestant music. Tasks will include leading volunteer vocalists and musicians, ensuring musical selections are performed in accordance with Army Band standards, and adhering to specific dress codes. Musicians will also need to demonstrate their sight-reading skills, maintain tempo during performances, and correct any mistakes swiftly.
