Ladgov Corporation is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Catholic Musician at the Cannon Air Force Base Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico. This part-time job requires a musician who is adept at conducting rehearsals, performing as part of a worship team, and leading congregational singing.
The musician will not only play instruments such as the organ and piano but will also be responsible for training and supervising other church musicians and choir members. Organization is key, as the musician will be tasked with maintaining the church's music library, which includes scores, recordings, and other materials necessary for church services. Additionally, the role involves leasing and maintaining musical equipment that is used during services.
Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Music or a blend of relevant education and experience totaling at least three years. A year of experience working with church musicians, directors, or choirs, either in a volunteer or paid capacity, is also required. Knowledge of various music genres, especially traditional hymns and classical music, is essential.
