Linkin Park’s lead guitarist, Brad Delson, has confirmed he will not be participating in the band’s upcoming reunion tour, which is set to support the release of their latest album, From Zero. In a recent interview, Delson expressed his preference for studio work over live performances, highlighting his inclination towards recording and songwriting as his main contributions to the band's future.
Despite Delson's absence from the live shows, he remains a significant presence in the creative process behind From Zero, making his decision particularly impactful as Linkin Park embarks on this new chapter with additional members in the lineup. The album release follows the successful 20th anniversary edition of Meteora, sparking renewed interest and nostalgia among fans.
The tour will feature six dates across various arenas in 2024, with the possibility of extending into 2025. Notably, Dead Sara's Emily Armstrong will join the group as co-vocalist, alongside drummer Colin Brittain, marking a shift as the band embraces a new era. Fans are expected to flock to these shows, eager to witness the updated lineup perform live after a lengthy hiatus.
Tickets for the shows will be available for purchase starting September 13 at 10 AM local time. For more details about the tour and ticket sales, visit Kerrang!.
