Ministry Of Sound and Tap Music Management have embarked on a dynamic new campaign for London Grammar, focusing on the release of the band's fourth studio album, The Greatest Love. This marks the group's first album since Californian Soil, which was a commercial success, achieving gold status with over 120,865 sales, according to the Official Charts Company. Released on September 13, 2024, The Greatest Love represents a significant evolution in the band's artistic journey.

In an exclusive interview featured in the September issue of Music Week, singer Hannah Reid and guitarist Dan Rothman spoke about the new record, alongside industry executives Dipesh Parmar of Ministry Of Sound and Tony Beard and Liv Plunkett from Tap Music. Parmar, who played a pivotal role in the band's signing over a decade ago, praised Reid for her exceptional songwriting and vocal prowess, stating, "It never ceases to amaze me how creative they are."

The groundwork for this album was laid well in advance, with the release of a remix compilation last year that garnered 9,417 sales. This strategy was aimed at engaging and growing their streaming audience, highlighting the band’s desire to expand their fan base into the dance music sphere.

With aspirations for a third consecutive No. 1 album following Truth Is A Beautiful Thing, the band’s management has indicated that while chart positions are desirable, they are not the foremost priority. Beard remarked, "As long as they feel they have a creative outlet for their music that resonates both culturally and emotionally, that is probably most important."

Looking ahead, London Grammar is set to embark on their biggest European tour to date, which includes their first-ever arena headline shows. This decision to expand into larger venues has thus far been met with enthusiastic ticket sales, validating the strategic shift towards arenas. The band is also exploring untapped markets in Southeast Asia and South America, as they aim to connect with new audiences.

The groundwork is clearly in place for London Grammar to make significant strides both culturally and commercially as they return to the music scene with new music and an ambitious live tour.
