During the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, held on September 11 in Elmont, New York, Damiano David, the lead vocalist of the Italian rock band Måneskin, shared notable insights into his upcoming solo project, set to debut on September 27, 2024. In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, David expressed his enthusiasm for the personal creative endeavor, stating, "I've been working for a long, long time on a new project and September 27 is the date of release, so I would love everyone to stay tuned."

Elaborating further, David compared his solo work to his contributions to Måneskin, hinting that listeners can expect a different sound. He teased, "There's going to be a lot of new things," while reassuring fans that the band remains intact: "The band is great. We are going to work on stuff. Nothing is going to change."

Fellow band member Victoria De Angelis also participated in the VMAs, offering insights into her own solo project titled "Get Up Bitch (Shake Ya Ass)," featuring a collaboration with Brazilian superstar Anitta. De Angelis addressed rumors regarding the potential disbandment of the band following their recent tour, emphasizing that Måneskin remains unified and strong.

Meanwhile, David recently piqued interest with a cryptic Instagram teaser, featuring a monologue that read, "I travelled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything's started." Fans have speculated this could reference a new single or album, potentially titled 'Everywhere.'

Måneskin's last full-length album, 'Rush,' was released in 2023 and garnered mixed reviews, though it was especially noted for its dynamic live performances. As anticipation builds for the solo projects from both David and De Angelis, Måneskin's influence continues to resonate within the music industry, engaging their fanbase.
