Mastodon and Lamb of God have released their new collaborative single titled "Floods of Triton," encapsulating high-energy sound that reflects both bands' earlier works while also highlighting their stylistic evolution. The track debuted following their co-headlined arena tour, which celebrated the 20th anniversaries of Mastodon's influential album "Leviathan" and Lamb of God's iconic "Ashes of the Wake."

This partnership showcases the enduring legacy of both bands in the heavy music scene, marrying the innovative spirit found in their earlier albums with an ongoing pursuit of creativity. The single was recorded at Mastodon's West End Sound in Atlanta and was produced by both Mastodon and noted producer Tyler Bates, who gained acclaim for his scores for films like "Guardians of The Galaxy" and "John Wick."

"Floods of Triton" signals not just a tribute to the past, but the start of a fresh chapter for Mastodon. The track is accessible through Loma Vista Recordings, and vinyl pre-orders are now available, further enriching their discography.

Looking forward, Mastodon is scheduled to perform at the Good Things Festival in Australia this December, sharing the lineup with acts such as Korn, Sum 41, and Electric Callboy. The festival is set to unfold over multiple dates and venues, with tickets available for purchase online. For more details about the festival, interested fans can visit Oztix. The new single can also be found through Loma Vista Recordings.

This collaboration represents another significant milestone in the careers of both Mastodon and Lamb of God.
