Grammy-award winning artist Megan Thee Stallion has collaborated with RM of BTS on a new Gameboy-themed single titled "Neva Play," released via Hot Girl Productions. This marks Megan's second partnership with RM, following her feature on the Butter (remix). In a statement regarding the collaboration, Megan expressed excitement, saying, "I’m so excited that RM and I were able to work together on this one. I love him, I love BTS! He came through with one of my favorite verses that I know the Hotties and the Army are going to love."
The release of "Neva Play" comes on the heels of Megan being named the cover star of Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players issue, where she was also honored with the R&B/Hip-Hop Artist of the Year award at a ceremony held in New York City last week. Earlier this year, she dropped her third studio album, "MEGAN," which featured singles such as "Cobra," "BOA," and the viral hit "Mamushi." The album showcased contributions from artists like Victoria Monet, GloRilla, UGK, Big K.R.I.T., Kyle Richh, and Yuki Chib.
In addition to her new single, Megan is set to host the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards on September 11th at UBS Arena, marking her first experience as an awards show host. Furthermore, she announced her plans to perform at the VMAs, pulling double-duty for the event.
