Geneva-based rock band Mindless Crowd has officially released their latest album, Wanderlust, marking a significant addition to their discography. The album, which dropped on September 16, 2024, serves as a personal exploration of the diverse experiences and lessons encountered throughout life's journeys.

In a statement, the band reflects on the nature of the album, describing it as a winding journey of introspection. "Wanderlust" encourages listeners to break free from their routines and embrace new adventures. As the band puts it, "along the way, you will encounter motivation, disillusionment, success and failure. But at the end, it's up to you to hear the world your way."

The album features a blend of dreamy tones, melodic riffs, and hazy psychedelic textures, which deliver a modern rock feel while maintaining a nostalgic essence. This sonic landscape exemplifies the band's evolution, transitioning from performing covers of rock legends like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to crafting original compositions influenced by artists such as Dire Straits and Gorillaz.

Mindless Crowd was formed in 2012 by high school friends Alex (guitar/vocals) and Julien (guitar), alongside Gal (bass) and Lucas (drums). Their journey in the music industry has led to over 150,000 listens on Spotify, and positive feedback following their debut EP has set the stage for Wanderlust to solidify their place in the rock scene. Fans and newcomers alike can explore the vibrant sounds of Mindless Crowd through their music available on various streaming platforms.
