The Salvation Army is currently seeking a dedicated Music Instructor to join their team at the Wisconsin & Upper Michigan Division Kroc Center located in Green Bay. This role involves teaching various musical instruments and voice in both group and private lesson formats. The job offers a part-time commitment of up to 18 hours per week, with the potential for expansion to 25 hours as student enrollment increases.

As part of The Salvation Army's mission, which focuses on preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting human needs, the selected candidate will contribute to the organization by developing and implementing engaging music curricula. Responsibilities include not only teaching music lessons but also developing assessments and building collaborative partnerships with local schools and organizations.

Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Music or equivalent performance experience, with at least three years of teaching experience required. The ideal applicant would possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work harmoniously with children, parents, and staff. A flexible attitude and a supportive approach toward The Salvation Army's mission are essential. Additionally, the successful candidate must be Safe from Harm certified within 60 days of hire.
