National Album Day 2023 Unveils Exclusive Releases for Great British Groups

National Album Day has announced an exciting lineup of exclusive releases and reissues set for Saturday, October 19, 2023, with this year's theme celebrating Great British Groups. The event will spotlight significant titles from a variety of iconic British artists, showcasing the depth and diversity of the country's music landscape.

Among the highlights is All Saints' debut album, scheduled for release on vibrant green vinyl, featuring chart-topping hits like 'Never Ever' and 'Bootie Call'. Also notable is Babyshambles' 2007 album 'Shotter's Nation,' which will be reissued on clear vinyl, offering fans a fresh take on the band's critically acclaimed work.

In honor of their 55th anniversary, Judas Priest will issue a special vinyl edition of 'British Steel,' including classic tracks such as 'Breaking the Law'. Additionally, Mumford & Sons will release their pioneering album 'Sigh No More' on ultra-clear vinyl, further showcasing its impact during the folk-rock revival.

The Spice Girls, one of the most influential pop groups, will make their debut album available again on clear vinyl, featuring timeless hits like 'Wannabe' and 'Say You'll Be There'. Other essential titles include Suede’s 30th anniversary reissue of 'Dog Man Star' and Travis’ 'The Man Who' in a special 25th anniversary pressing.

National Album Day, first launched in 2018, is dedicated to celebrating the enduring relevance of albums in today's music scene. The complete list of exclusive titles for pre-order began on September 12, with physical albums available for purchase on the event day. The initiative enjoys support from various organizations, including the BPI and ERA, and has received endorsements from numerous artists portraying the vibrant landscape of British music.
