LHP MUSIC is currently seeking experienced music teachers to join their team at Nick Rail Music, a chain of family-owned music stores that has been serving the Southern California community for over 30 years. The position offers part-time opportunities for teaching private and group music lessons across a variety of instruments in all families.
The primary purpose of this role is to instill a love for music in students, helping them to develop their skills in both solo and group settings. Instructors will be responsible for increasing student enrollment and ensuring current students progress in their musical education and enjoyment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting effective private and group lessons
- Communicating with students' parents about progress
- Providing excellent customer service to maintain long-term student relationships
- Assigning music-related homework to deepen knowledge
Candidates with a bachelor's degree in music, though preferred, are not a requirement. A minimum of one year of teaching experience is considered ideal. Nick Rail Music promotes a positive working environment and encourages applicants of all ages.
