NPR is currently looking for an Audio Engineer to join their Engineering Division in Washington, DC. This role involves collaborating closely with journalists and producers to ensure that high-quality audio is produced and delivered efficiently.

The responsibilities include engineering live broadcasts and mixing audio for NPR's programming, as well as troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during production. The Audio Engineer will operate various tools such as equalizers and noise reducers to maintain NPR's standards of sound quality.

In a fast-paced environment that operates 24/7, the ideal candidate will possess at least two years of technical experience in audio production. They should be adept at multitasking and possess strong communication skills to support a diverse client base effectively.
