Design & Integration, Inc., an Audio-Visual Communications company located in Baltimore, is currently searching for an Entry Level Engineer. This position is perfect for recent graduates holding a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in audio and/or video communications from reputable universities. In this role, you will embark on a 1-2 year career track that aims to enhance your technical skills and understanding of the industry.
The responsibilities for this position include conducting site surveys and needs assessments, producing advanced audio-visual designs, and reading architectural and MEP drawings. You will also create construction and system integration documents such as CAD drawings and specifications. In addition, you'll be responsible for configuring digital signal processing and generating program codes, along with performing systems commissioning and client training.
Effective communication is vital as you will need to coordinate technical design solutions with clients, staff, and vendors. The role also requires you to assist sales and technical teams with high-end technical support during both pre- and post-sales phases, which includes attending project meetings. Prospective candidates must be knowledgeable about current technology offered by manufacturers such as AMX, Biamp, Crestron, and Extron.
To qualify, a background in video/audio/music/acoustics is preferred.
