O-Negative Studios is looking to expand its creative team by hiring an experienced Audio Engineer. The role involves producing high-quality audio for different media formats such as film, video, and various content creation projects. This position presents a wonderful opportunity for sound professionals eager to engage with diverse projects and collaborate with creative visionaries.

The responsibilities for this role include working on post-production audio projects for film, television, video games, and commercials. Candidates must be skilled in operating audio equipment—such as mixers and compressors—and should have proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere, Avid, and Final Cut Pro. Collaborating closely with directors and producers to achieve the desired audio quality is a vital part of the job.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio editing software, particularly Pro-Tools, and be adept in audio signal processing and mixing techniques. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, as well as technical expertise with audio equipment, are necessary to excel in this fast-paced environment.

This contract position, with expected hours ranging from 4 to 10 weekly, offers a pay rate between $20 and $25 per hour. Proficiency in Spanish and a Pro-Tools certification are preferred. The work will be conducted in person at Laurel, MD 20708, with required availability for night and overnight shifts.
