Oh Annie Oh has officially announced her debut EP entitled 'Block N Delete', which is set to be released on September 26 via Jamz Supernova's Future Bounce label. Accompanying the announcement, she has shared the lead single, 'Bye Hoe', a track characterized by its unique blend of dubstep, speed garage, and UKG influences.
In her own words, Oh Annie Oh describes 'Bye Hoe' as embodying that transformative moment post-breakup when frustrations peak and resoluteness emerges: “The sadness turns to madness and you finally say B-Y-E!” The upcoming EP presents a four-track experience that acts as a conceptual reflection on modern dating, exploring themes of obsession, love's volatility, and the subsequent need to reclaim one’s autonomy.
The tracks on 'Block N Delete' are designed to echo the chaotic emotions often associated with the digital age of relationships—from obsession to rupture to recovery. Each song serves as a chapter in a recognizable narrative that captures the sweet yet tumultuous cycle of love in contemporary times.
Fans can now listen to the lead single 'Bye Hoe', which promises to be a staple in clubs, encapsulating the energetic feel of her intended sound. The EP is currently available for pre-order. More details on the single and the EP can be found on Mixmag.
