The selected candidate will be charged with ensuring the precision and completeness of all incoming royalty data in line with contracts and copyright law. This role demands a meticulous eye for detail as the individual will be tasked with maintaining the integrity of systems that oversee catalogs, assets, and transactions.
Key responsibilities will involve reviewing and verifying statements and payments from third parties, entering pertinent financial data to the General Ledger, and generating management reports employing business intelligence tools. The Data Analyst will also work in conjunction with various teams including accounting, marketing, and licensing to enhance communication and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree along with essential experience in the music business, high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and the ability to analyze complex music royalty reports.
