Red Mountain Theatre is on the lookout for a proficient Resident Audio-Visual Engineer to enhance their technical production team. This position plays a crucial role in devising, implementing, and executing sound and projection designs that align with the artistic direction of RMT’s productions and events. The responsibilities include installing, operating, and maintaining professional audiovisual equipment, ensuring that the technical elements run seamlessly and meet both industry standards and the internal requirements of RMT.
Collaboration is a key focus for this role, as the engineer will work closely with other production team members to navigate the fast-paced nature of live events. Potential candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, coupled with a solid track record of 1-3 years in audiovisual equipment management. Experience with digital sound consoles, particularly Allen and Heath dLive, along with skills in live mixing and microphone operation, are significant assets. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is also expected.
