Rolo Tomassi, the prominent UK mathcore band, has announced the release of a live version of their song "To Resist Forgetting," originally featured on their 2022 album Where Myth Becomes Memory. This track serves as a preview for their upcoming live album Live At The Electric Ballroom, which is set to release on September 27, 2024, through Mnrk Heavy.

The live album was captured during the band's largest headline show to date, held in London in February 2023. Previously, Rolo Tomassi teased the album by putting out a live rendition of their 2018 single "Aftermath." Keyboardist and co-vocalist James Spence expressed that tracks like these resonate with audiences, creating memorable sing-along moments during performances. He mentioned, “this song has been an audience favorite along with a rare opportunity for a sing-along.”

Rolo Tomassi, formed in 2005 and influenced by the character from the neo-noir classic L.A. Confidential, has evolved their sound significantly over the years. Their past album Where Myth Becomes Memory has garnered critical acclaim, leading to a notable 9/10 review from Metal Hammer's Dannii Leivers who praised the band's growth and the seamless blend of elements in their music.

As they prepare for the release of Live At The Electric Ballroom, the band is also reported to be working on their seventh studio album, signifying that their progression as artists continues unabated. For more details and updates, fans can visit Metal Hammer’s official page at Louder Sound.
