Role Overview
In the Audio Engineer Consultant position, you will report to the Associate Director of Education: Professional Shared Services. Your primary responsibilities will include editing and providing feedback on all audio-related projects under the Education department. You'll collaborate closely with project champions and business leads to ensure quality assurance and maintain high standards for audio-related initiatives, including the STW Podcast program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dedicate at least 10 hours per month to editing audio files and providing feedback.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited audio files according to project schedules.
- Uphold high-quality audio standards as outlined in project charters.
- Engage in regular meetings and offer support as needed.
- Attend virtual meetings in EST timezone and respond to emails within 36 hours.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of educational experience in audio engineering or equivalent work experience. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment are crucial for success in this role. A solid understanding of audio engineering software and experience with multimedia applications is preferred.
