Mixes DB, a popular online resource for mix tracklisting, is shutting down its website due to outdated technology. Founded by Martin Gtz, the site has compiled nearly 300,000 entries since 2006, serving as an essential tool for DJs and music enthusiasts. Users are encouraged to download the database before its closure on June 29. However, a new version titled Mixes DB 2 is in the works, and a Chrome plug-in called Shovel has been introduced to enhance the experience of browsing Discogs.
