TEKsystems, a prominent player in the technology sector, is on the lookout for a Technical Sound Designer to join its Sound Design Organization. This centralized team works on nearly every product produced by the company, collaborating with various product and creative teams to design audio experiences for a vast array of platforms, including smartphones, glasses, VR headsets, and augmented/mixed reality devices. The organization consists of over 60 audio experts who are dedicated to creating immersive sound experiences.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess extensive experience in sound design, particularly in the realm of AR/VR/MR design tools like Spark and Snap Studio. Additionally, proficiency in audio middleware such as Wwise and FMOD, along with coding and scripting skills in languages like JavaScript, C#, or Python, is essential. Candidates will be tasked with designing sounds for prototype products, developing sound concepts from scripts, and implementing custom sounds across various platforms.
In this position, the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and product teams is crucial. Responsibilities include utilizing digital signal processing to enhance audio quality and collaborating with partners to outline and execute sound design projects.
