Terry Slesser, known as the lead singer of Back Street Crawler, is preparing to launch his debut solo album, Forever Blue. This release marks a significant milestone in Slesser's extensive musical career, which started over 50 years ago when he collaborated with guitarist Paul Kossoff after leaving the band Free. Forever Blue is set to be released as a limited edition CD starting tomorrow, September 13, with the digital version available on November 15 through Momojo Records. A vinyl edition is anticipated later this year.

Described by Slesser as a "swan song life story," the album features original members of Back Street Crawler and was recorded in Los Angeles. Among the contributors is bassist Terry Wilson from Back Street Crawler. Slesser collaborated with Mark Taylor, known for his work with artists like The Alarm and Elton John, to produce an album that showcases a variety of talented musicians, including drummer Tony Braunagel and guitarists Geoff Whitehorn, John Buckton, and Snuffy Walden, who previously contributed to Free's last album Heartbreaker. Walden's post-Free career also includes composition work for popular TV series like The West Wing and Roseanne.

Slesser shared that this album has been 50 years in the making, with two tracks co-written alongside Mond Cowie of Angelic Upstarts. The majority of the songs were developed over the past three years during the pandemic. He expressed deep gratitude towards his former bandmates for helping realize the vision they started decades ago, with significant lyrical contributions influenced by Paul Kossoff.

The title track, Forever Blue, is currently available, along with a demo of a song titled Rome In A Day. Slesser’s career includes auditions for prominent rock bands such as AC/DC and Iron Maiden and contributions to Def Leppard's acclaimed album Pyromania, underscoring his enduring presence in the rock music scene.

Fans can purchase the CD directly from Terry Slesser. For additional information and updates, listeners can check Classic Rock and Momojo Records.

This album is a significant representation of Slesser’s career, capturing a blend of nostalgia and progress.
