L.A.-based nu metal band Tetrarch has returned with their first new single since 2021, titled "Live Not Fantasize." The track was officially released today, September 19, alongside an impactful music video.

Lead guitarist Diamond Rowe expressed excitement about this new offering, stating, "We are extremely excited to release Live Not Fantasize to the world. We had a lot of fun writing this song because of how heavy and aggressive it is, while still having a big catchy chorus that gets stuck in your head." He elaborated on the song's themes, mentioning it focuses on overcoming negative thoughts and finding inner peace—encouraging listeners to actively live instead of merely fantasizing about better times.

Established in 2007 as a thrash metal band by Rowe and singer/guitarist Josh Fore, Tetrarch shifted towards a nu metal direction over the years. They self-released their debut album "Freak" in 2017 and gained airplay on U.S. radio, supported by notable metal figures like Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed and Dino Cazares of Fear Factory.

The band's second album, "Unstable," released in 2021 under Napalm Records, received a solid critical reception, with Metal Hammer rating it 8/10. This album highlighted the band's evolution, directly reflecting their roots while adding fresh elements typical of contemporary metal.

With the release of "Live Not Fantasize," promotional materials hint at significant news forthcoming—possibly the announcement of Tetrarch's third studio album. Fans are encouraged to check out the new single and its video on platforms like YouTube.
