Post-punk icons The Chameleons have revealed a new five-song EP titled "Tomorrow Remember Yesterday," set for release on October 11 via Metropolis Records (digital) and Aufnahme+Wiedergarbe (vinyl). This release follows their previous EP "Where Are You?" issued in May 2024 and serves as a bridge to their upcoming album "Arctic Moon," scheduled for 2025. Mark Burgess, vocalist and bassist, explained that the newly recorded tracks were among the earliest songs the band created before their initial John Peel session in 1981 but were ultimately set aside as they felt unfinished.

The EP opens with "The Fan and the Bellows," a track that originally was favored to be their debut single but was passed over for "In Shreds." Other notable songs included are "Nostalgia," which lent its name to the EP and was recorded during the same sessions as the lead track with renowned producer Steve Lillywhite.

Currently, The Chameleons are on tour in Europe with a U.S. return planned for the autumn. Following this, they will have seven shows across the UK and Ireland in December. The full European tour schedule can be accessed here.

The EP track listing includes:

  1. The Fan and the Bellows
  2. Nostalgia
  3. Nathan's Phase
  4. Every Day I'm Crucified
  5. Things I Wish I'd Said

Additionally, the band is excited about their forthcoming album "Arctic Moon," which they describe as being different from their previous work, aiming for a more mature sound. 2025 will mark the first full album from The Chameleons since "Why Call it Anything?" released in 2001.
