Danish-Brazilian garage duo The Courettes have unveiled their latest single, "Keep Dancing," alongside an official music video. The track serves as the lead single from their forthcoming album, The Soul Of The Fabulous Courettes, which is set to be released on September 27 through Damaged Goods. The iconic Richard Gottehrer, known for his work in the 1960s, mixed the single.

"Keep Dancing" marks a significant evolution in their sound, continuing from their prior 2021 album, Back I Mono. While maintaining their garage-punk and girl-group influences, this new album embraces darker lyrical themes. Vocalist Flavia reflects on the personal nature of the lyrics, particularly regarding her relationship with her father, who passed away due to COVID-19. Flavia states, "It's a special subject to sing about and to make pop music out of... It's actually celebrating moving on, and I think that's really fantastic."

The Courettes are preparing to embark on a UK tour later this month, which includes their largest show to date at The Dome in Tufnell Park. The tour kicks off on September 25 in Hull, with multiple dates across the UK leading up to their performance in London on October 4. Fans can pre-order the single on pink vinyl through Damaged Goods.
