The Harry Fox Agency (HFA) is on the lookout for a Senior Publishing Catalog Specialist to join their Music Services team in Nashville. This crucial position will involve managing the administrative side of music publishing, ensuring that royalty payments are accurate and timely. The responsibilities are extensive and include tasks such as entering and updating song information in the publishing database, creating CWR, and monitoring song registrations with Performance Rights Organizations (PROs) and the Copyright Office.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining complete records of songwriters, publishers, and associated metadata. Additionally, they will oversee the catalog database, ensuring all information is thoroughly documented. This role also involves processing royalty payouts, handling licensing requests for synchronization, mechanical, and print rights.

The candidate will act as the main point of contact for songwriters, publishers, and external partners, addressing inquiries and providing effective support related to music publishing administration. The specialist will collaborate on team projects to ensure deadlines are met while fostering trust and strong relationships across departments.

Qualifications Required

Candidates interested in applying should have a minimum of three years of experience in publishing administration and operations. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary, along with a strong knowledge of music publishing processes and royalty tracking.

Enhancements to this role can come from an individual's experience with international music publishing and the ability to work across various music genres. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adapt to new technologies is essential.
