The National Football League (NFL) is currently looking for a dedicated Night Shift Audio Engineer to become a vital part of their post-production audio team for the 2024 NFL Season. This role is crucial for processing game sound, syncing daily footage, and editing game radio broadcasts. The typical shift will run from Sunday through Thursday, from 4 PM to 12 AM, over a seven-month term starting mid-July and concluding mid-February.

Job Responsibilities

On Sundays, the individual will collaborate with the Audio Operations team, focusing on processing game sound, while from Monday to Thursday, the engineer will be tasked with digitizing audio material from legacy 16mm Mag audio tracks using DaVinci Resolve and Fairlight workstations. Additionally, the engineer will be required to monitor audio playback meticulously, archive files, and log recording details into a database.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess great attention to detail and a working knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW), with a preference for experience with Resolve/Fairlight systems. A background in digital audio recording, familiarity with various computer platforms, and weekend availability during the NFL season are essential. Preferred qualifications include a four-year degree or equivalent education along with three years of experience in a post-production audio setting.
