The complete tracklist for SOPHIE's posthumous album has been revealed, coinciding with what would have been her 38th birthday on September 17. The album, simply titled "SOPHIE," is set for release on September 27 via Transgressive Records and Future Classic. It comes following the tragic passing of the influential producer and artist Sophie Xeon, who died on January 30, 2021, at the age of 34. The announcement was made by her estate to honor her memory and the impact she had on the music industry.

This upcoming album will feature 16 tracks, showcasing a variety of collaborations with notable artists. The list includes tracks like "RAWWWWWW" featuring Jozzy, "Plunging Asymptote" with Juliana Huxtable, and "The Dome's Protection" featuring Nina Kraviz, among others. Other featured artists include Kim Petras, BIG SISTER, and Popstar, highlighting the wide-reaching influence and collaboration that SOPHIE engaged in throughout her career.

The singles previewed from the album include the tracks "Reason Why" (featuring Kim Petras), "Berlin Nightmare" (featuring Evita Manji), "One More Time," and "Exhilarate" (featuring Bibi Bourelly). The tracklist reveal follows SOPHIE being honored with a Google Doodle, which featured a video commemorating her life and work, and was accompanied by a snippet of her song "Immaterial."

Earlier in 2024, Charli XCX and St. Vincent also publicly paid tribute to SOPHIE's legacy in their recent works. Charli's song "So I" from her album "Brat" expresses her admiration for SOPHIE, while St. Vincent's track "Sweetest Fruit" was inspired by reading about the producer's death.
