A$AP Rocky has released "Tailor Swif," a track previously known as "Wetty," as he gears up for the delayed release of his upcoming album titled Don't Be Dumb. The new single, produced by Hitkidd, features a clever play on Taylor Swift's name in the chorus, where Rocky raps, "I'm too swift / don't tell Taylor 'bout this sh*t / Go to my tailor / Got me dripped up in the district." The song was initially performed live at Rolling Loud Portugal in 2022, but its prior leak led Rocky to express his reluctance to include leaked material on his album. He mentioned during an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music that including songs on the album is important to the story the project tells. "I think anything that makes it on the project is just like kind of, it's like a catalyst to your story," he explained. Despite the leaked tracks, the decision to include "Tailor Swif" appears to be a strategic pivot for the artist.
Fans can now stream "Tailor Swif" on Spotify and Apple Music. The release comes alongside a slew of notable music drops including Best New Tracks, featuring artists Big Sean, Travis Scott, and Chance the Rapper. To learn more about A$AP Rocky's new single, visit Hypebeast.
