Anders Ilar, the Estonian electronic artist, has released his latest EP titled Tallinn Acid Tracks through Acid Lathe, a limited edition label under Yard Recon. Originally produced in 2015 during his time in Estonia, this new EP presents four tracks cut on a unique clear square 8-inch vinyl, which is made individually using a lathe cutting machine.

The EP showcases a strong focus on acid techno, which is especially appealing for DJs and electronic music collectors. With two tracks featuring both stereo and mono cuts, it emphasizes the psychedelic experience that many clubbers seek. The lead track, Tallinn Acid 1 (Stereo Mix), offers an elaborate acid loop interwoven with glitchy ambient layers, dub echoes, and a minimal techno beat, creating a reflective atmosphere suited for introspective moments within DJ sets.

Conversely, Tallinn Acid 3 (Stereo Mix) delivers a more vigorous approach with its straightforward acid techno style and a gritty bassline, ensuring a raw and energetic vibe frequently absent in contemporary electronic music scenes.

The Tallinn Acid Tracks EP is available for purchase on Acid Lathe's Bandcamp page and promises to cater excellently to both die-hard analog DJs and acid enthusiasts alike. This latest release from Ilar is part of a growing trend of revitalizing classic sounds within the electronic music landscape and follows his previous work, including Light & Shadow and Stories of Old.
