NYC-based trio Sunflower Bean have unveiled their new single, 'Teach Me To Be Bad', the second track from their upcoming EP, 'SHAKE', set to be released on September 27 via Lucky Number. Following the EP's title track, this new effort is characterized by a grunge-influenced sound with catchy riffs that harken back to the band's earlier work. The song delves into themes of serendipity and the profound impact a chance encounter with a special person can have on one’s life, exploring the exhilarating yet frightening aspects of falling for someone unfamiliar.
In addition to the single, the band has also released a visually striking accompanying video which serves as part of a short film. The film will integrate the visuals from all five tracks on the EP, each symbolizing a natural element: earth, wind, water, fire, and metal. The 'Teach Me To Be Bad' video reflects the fire element, emphasizing the intense emotions associated with new love.
